Enthusiastic participants can now register their interest to participate in the International Mentor Program (IMP), run by Local Government Professionals Australia with support from MuAN.
Successful applicants will be assigned an international mentor, who works in local government in Australia. The pair will work together via email, social media, or video chat, and will be supported throughout a 16-week project.
Participation in the program is a chance to evolve personal and professional skills, while delivering a development project in a municipality.
If you know an emerging professional who could participate as a mentee, or if your municipality has the facilities to host a mentee while they carry out a project;register your interest via this link.
For more information about the program, visit the LGPro website, or email the In-Country Program Manager Hira KajiMaharjan: firstname.lastname@example.org.Read More →
